Derek is a Portland-native designer, who has recently returned to Oregon from San Francisco, and is most often seen in a hat.

He has a strong love for graphic illustration, poppy colors, and brands that don’t take themselves too seriously. He especially enjoys opportunities to personify inanimate objects and is specifically interested in branding, illustration, and print work.

He is currently enjoying an early Ferrari recovery in the 2024 Formula 1 season, investing way too much in Magic: The Gathering cards, and enjoying cashouts in The Finals.
